Have you ever heard someone say that to you?
“You’re drinking too much water!”
Guess what? You’re probably not!
Before you start your week, we want to leave you with a simple reminder:
Water is one of those things that is constantly overlooked, but is critical to your healthy lifestyle.
Your body is made up of more than 70% of water which is crazy!
Did you know that we not only lose water from sweating, we lose it from things as simple as sleeping and breathing?
This is why we have to constantly rehydrate ourselves.
You should be drinking at least half of your body weight in ounces of water per day. In addition, you want to add 12 ounces of water for every 30 minutes you are active!
The best rule of thumb is to drink one gallon of water per day.
I know it may seem like a lot (and you might have to work up to it), but there are so many benefits. Keep the end goal in mind, and remind yourself of how important this is!
Water serves many purposes. Some are:
- Promoting fat loss
- Aiding digestion
- Flushing toxins
- Clearing your skin
Here’s a tip to keep you on track:
Try the 10 gulp rule. Every time the bottle touches your lips take 10 gulps before putting it down. Doing this will help keep you perfectly hydrated all day!
