It’s #SelfcareSunday and we want to help you feel less stressed!
Have you ever felt so overwhelmed with things to do that you end up doing nothing at all?
It’s known as analysis paralysis. Ever had this syndrome?
Welcome to our lives before we discovered this easy trick.
I’ll tell you what it is, but there is a catch…
It only works if you work it!
“The Rule of 3” is what saved us from a life of stress and procrastination.
Here is what to do:
- Create a master list of everything that you need to get done in no particular order. You MUST write them down to organize your thoughts or this won’t work.
- Get a sticky note pad.
- Write down either the 3 most important things you need to do, OR the 3 things you least want to do.
- Those 3 things have ALL of your attention and I mean ALL! Knock them out, then throw it out!
Make your list manageable and attainable, and slowly begin to chip away at it. Once you complete the 3 things you had written down, check them off your master list and start over with a new sticky note.
Implement this simple tool in your daily life and you will produce massive results!
Who doesn’t want that?
So this Sunday, you have some homework. Sorry, it’s the teacher in me 😉
Find a notebook for your master list, and write down ALL of the things that need to get done. Then pick your first 3 and get to work!
