Are you thinking, what question? I never asked you anything. lol
I know, I’m talking about the question that you’ve asked yourself a million times.
“Will, I ever have the body of my dreams?”
This is something that I know we all struggle with. It seems that no matter how hard we try we are never satisfied.
I think I have something that will help you.
This isn’t just some positive thinking bullshit. You know those rah rah posts that you roll your eyes at.
Listen, I know sometimes it’s easier said than done, but it works.
We are constantly comparing ourselves to others.
We hop on Facebook or Instagram and within seconds we feel jealousy, envy, and inadequate.
It is because we are focused on what everyone else has. Or more importantly what we don’t.
We’re not tall enough.
They have a flat stomach.
Look at their vacation.
I wish I had money for healthy food.
I wish my kids behaved like theirs.
Oh, their spouse is supportive.
You know that most people post their highlight reel on social media. We sit and compare their highlights to our behind the scenes and we feel like shit.
First, recognize that we all struggle with things. ALL OF US!
If you want to have the body of your dreams and be happy, maybe it’s time to change your dream.
Time to play the hand you were dealt like its the one you wanted.
Here is what I want you to do…if you want to feel better.
Ask yourself these two questions, write them down with the answers, and put them somewhere that you can see them every day.
- How has my body served me in my life?
- What do I love about my body?
Right away this might seem hard because we are so used to picking ourselves apart.
So take a minute and think…
- My legs are super strong and I can pick heavy things up.
- I am tall so I can reach things in the kitchen.
- I am super short so I have more leg room on the plane.
- My body is healthy and birthed my beautiful children.
- My smile is my spouses’ favorite thing about me.
You can find things and don’t be afraid to talk yourself up!
You are powerful, beautiful and amazing!
If you change your focus you will operate from a different place.
One of my favorite quotes…
“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
There is nothing wrong with you and you don’t need to be fixed.
and remember…you can’t hate yourself to health. It always starts with self-love!
I would love to hear what you got from this!

Have an amazing day my friend!
