How often do we start a new workout program or set out on a new journey with all the ambition in the world?
We get all excited and we know for sure in our heads that we are going to get there no matter what. Just thinking about the result gets us giddy and we can’t wait to get started. But then it happens, we get sore, the hot water heater breaks, the weather changes, our workout partner decides they’re done…
This is when your WHY comes into play more than ever.
You have to know going into this new lifestyle that it is not always going to be easy.
You have to know that hard days are going to come and you’re not always going to be 100% of your game.
When you become okay with the fact that things aren’t going to go as planned, everything changes!
Your WHY is what gets you out of bed every day! It is going to be different for everyone, but you need to spend time thinking about what are the most important reasons why you want to live a healthier and happier life.
It may be you wanting to get off of a prescription medication that is hindering your quality of life, you may want to start a family, or even want to be around to see your grandchildren grow up!
Whatever it is, make it special to you!
We only get a short time here in this life and you deserve you live a full, healthy and happy existence.
Spend time with the people who make you feel loved, spend less time worrying and more time laughing.
Workout and eat right because you can & know that the decisions you make today will shape your tomorrow!

Whatever it is that you choose will be your WHY right now. And it can always change. Type that up or print out a picture of it. Make 3 of them and hang them up in the 3 places you spend the most time each day. This will keep you focused on your goals and in turn, you will make better decisions throughout the day!
